Daiseki was incorporated in 1958
and immediately began working in the recycling business,
before the word "recycle" had become commonplace.
Since first obtaining our license for industrial waste treatment business in 1972,
we have contributed to the construction of a recycling-oriented society
under the mission of "making the best use of limited resources."
Founding period
Our founder opened a spring production factory in 1938 at the age of 24, and afterward went through a series of successes and setbacks for a number of years. Then in 1958, at the age of 44, he established Daido Sekiyu Kagakukogyo Co., Ltd., the predecessor to what is now Daiseki.
Incubation period
Amid the spread of pollution damage, we held a strong belief in the future of the industrial waste treatment and recycling business.
Changed the company name to Daiseki.
Take-off period
In order to contribute to society through further growth and to earn trust as a public entity, distribute profits to stakeholders, and enhance our recognition and industry image nationwide, Daiseki had its stock listed.
Further development period
Daiseki is pursuing business as a Group in order to act as an environment-creating company on a wider scale.

To achieve further growth, Daiseki became the first specialist industrial waste treatment company to be listed on the stock exchange!
For over 20 years since our listing in 1999, we have continually grown our business performance. (Our consolidated net sales have more than quadrupled between FY2001 and FY2023.)

Based on the amount of wastes received for recycling, liquids including waste oil, waste acid, and waste alkali are the largest in volume, followed by contaminated soil, sludge, and used lead batteries.
